With the Shopware 6 integration, you connect your Shopware 6 shop with Xentral. Xentral transfers products, categories, stocks, and prices to your shop, imports orders as sales orders, and reports order statuses, tracking information, and invoices back. This way, you process your sales orders entirely in Xentral, e.g., with auto-shipment, and your shop always displays current stocks and prices.
Shopware is a German open-source shop software that you can run as a cloud solution or self-hosted. The integration is compatible with all Shopware 6 versions up to and including 6.7.x.
When you create the integration, you select the features you want to use. Later, you set up each feature in detail in the Workflows tab and activate it individually.

In addition, there are Shopware-specific options:
-
Sales Channels: You assign products to one or more Shopware sales channels and assign a Xentral project to each sales channel during the order import.
-
Custom fields and properties: You write Xentral custom fields to either Shopware custom fields or Shopware properties. You fill selected Shopware default fields, such as minimum purchase quantity or delivery time, directly via custom fields.
-
Layout: You define the view of the product page and the display of variants in the storefront.
-
Advanced prices: You assign Xentral customer groups to the customer groups or price rules (Rule Builder) in Shopware.
-
Importing data from Shopware to Xentral: The integration transfers products, categories, stocks, and prices only from Xentral to Shopware. If you want to import product data from your shop to Xentral once, use the CSV import, see the article Importing data via CSV import.
-
Shopware 5: The integration supports Shopware 6 only.
-
Assigning custom fields twice: You can assign a Xentral custom field either to a Shopware custom field or to a Shopware property, but not to both at the same time.
-
Properties without a default field: You can fill Shopware fields for which there is no default field only via a customization.
-
Old orders: Xentral automatically imports only orders that were created after the order import went live and that are not older than three days. You import older orders specifically via the order number in the journal.
-
Orders with unknown products: If an order contains a product that does not exist in Xentral, Xentral does not import the order and reports an error in the journal.
Warehouses and JIT bills of materials: You select the Xentral warehouses from which Xentral calculates the stock in the workflows under Select Xentral warehouse. For JIT bills of materials, Xentral currently calculates the stock across all warehouses.
-
A Shopware 6 shop (version up to and including 6.7.x) in which you are logged in as an administrator
-
Administrator rights in Xentral: Currently, only administrators install, set up, and manage the integration
-
At least one payment method, one shipping method, and one sales channel in Shopware (see the article Shopware 6: Setting up the shop)
-
A postage item for shipping costs and a discount item for discounts in Xentral
Shopware 6 is a standard integration. You can use it in any Xentral plan. It does not incur any additional costs and counts neither as a flow nor as an API call in usage-based pricing, so it does not use up your included volume. Customer-specific flows and customizations that you use in addition count as flows; the API calls they contain do not count. You can find details on included volume and rate limits in the article Costs, plans and limits.
Note
These articles describe the current Shopware 6 integration. If you still use the classic Shopware connection (shop importer), you can find the instructions in the article Online shops (Legacy). The article Updating the shop importer describes how to update from the classic connection to the current version.
Keep the following in mind when switching from Shopware 6:
-
Deactivate the live mode of the shop importer before you take the new integration live. Otherwise, Xentral imports orders twice.
-
Do not delete the old shop importer connection. It must remain in the system.
-
The new integration does not automatically retrieve orders that were created in the shop before going live. Complete them in the shop importer or import individual sales orders in the journal by order number.
-
If your product images have come from Shopware so far, activate the data type Images only when the images in Xentral are complete and up to date.
-
If the product assignment was taken over from the shop importer, the filter criterion in the product assignment is the online shop UUID of the old connection. Check whether the number of products found is correct.
You start the update under Settings > Integrations via Migrate existing integration. There, you see all sales channels that have not yet been switched to the current version. The process itself is unchanged.
