Why Xentral needs it |
|---|---|
|
Payment method |
During the order import, Xentral assigns each Shopware payment method to a Xentral payment method. Create at least one payment method. |
|
Shipping method |
During the order import, Xentral assigns each Shopware shipping method to a Xentral shipping method. Create at least one shipping method. |
|
Tax rates |
Xentral assigns a standard, a reduced, and a tax-exempt tax rate from Shopware to the products. Create any missing tax rates, e.g., a reduced tax rate for books. |
|
Sales Channel |
Xentral assigns the products to at least one sales channel, e.g., your storefront shop, and assigns a Xentral project to each sales channel during the order import. |
|
Media folder |
Xentral stores the product images in a media folder that you select in the workflows. |
|
Countries and languages |
During the order import, Xentral assigns a Xentral country to each Shopware country and, if needed, a Xentral language to each Shopware language. |
|
Customer groups and price rules |
For advanced prices only: The customer groups or price rules (Rule Builder) to which you want to assign Xentral customer groups must already exist in Shopware. |
When you create a shop for the first time, you go through several steps. Follow the "Create Shopware account" instructions in the Shopware documentation so that you do not forget anything.
To process payments and pass the payment status to Xentral, you need at least one payment method in Shopware. You can find everything about payment methods in the Shopware documentation under "Payment methods".

How you handle your logistics in detail can be a very complex topic. At this point, we would like to refer you to the help provided by Shopware on shipping. For the integration, at least one shipping method must be created in Shopware.
If you offer products that are subject to a reduced tax rate, you create a suitable tax rate in Shopware and assign it to the products. You can find more details in the Shopware documentation under "Taxes".
→ Shopware documentation: Taxes
In Shopware, you work with sales channels. This way, you connect, for example, a social media presence or a comparison portal in addition to your actual shop. In the integration, you assign a Xentral project to each Shopware sales channel. This way, you control and evaluate your processes per channel. You can find more about sales channels in the Shopware documentation under "Sales channels".

For the connection, you create an integration with administrator rights in Shopware under Settings > System > Integrations. You do this directly when adding the integration in Xentral, because Shopware displays the security key only once, see the article Adding Shopware 6.
