With the product assignment, you define the products that Xentral synchronizes with Shopware 6. The selection applies to all workflows, that is, to products, stocks, and prices alike. A filter is useful for the first tests and, during live operation, whenever Xentral contains more products than you want to offer in Shopware.
-
You have created the integration, see the article Adding Shopware 6.
You can find the product assignment in the Configuration > Article assignment tab of your Shopware 6 integration.
-
Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
-
Click on the gear icon for your Shopware 6 integration.
-
Stay in the Configuration tab in the Article assignment sub-tab.
-
Under Configure filter, define one or more conditions. Each condition consists of WHEN, a field, an operator, and a value, e.g., Article no. == 100001. You add further conditions via Add single condition.
-
Click on Save and apply. Before that, Xentral displays the number of matches for confirmation and creates a new product list from them.
Afterward, Xentral exports all products that meet the filter. Depending on the number of products, this takes some time.
Note
Click on Save and apply only if something has actually changed in the filter. When you apply the filter, Xentral exports all selected products again. You can see the previous runs with the number of products and the date under Previously applied filters.
Without a filter, Xentral synchronizes all products with the shop, including blocked ones. Therefore, always set a product filter.
The following fields are available in the filter: Article ID, Article no., Article category ID, Article (DE) (the product name), is variant, Project ID, EAN, Lock active, Online shop UUID, Manufacturer, Manufacturer no., and all custom fields.
Xentral links multiple conditions with AND: A product is transferred only if it meets all conditions.
Operator |

Example |
|---|---|---|

Manufacturer == Muster GmbH |
|
!= |
is not equal to |
Article category ID != 12 |
|
> |
greater than |
Article ID > 1000 |
|
< |
less than |
Article ID < 5000 |
|
IN |

Article no. IN 100001,100005,100010 |
|
NOT IN |
not contained in a list |
Article no. NOT IN 100002,100003 |
Tip
For a list of product numbers, select the field Article no., select the operator IN, and enter the numbers separated by commas. If the field is a yes/no field, the filter displays a True / False switch instead of an input field.
For the first tests, you limit the selection to a single product, e.g., with Article no. == 100001. This way, you see in the journal exactly what Xentral transfers to Shopware without moving your entire catalog. For matrix products, you first transfer the matrix product and then the variants, see the article Shopware 6: Synchronizing matrix products and variants.
Xentral automatically adds new products that meet your filter to the product assignment overnight. If you want to transfer a product immediately, you open it in Xentral and click on Synchronize products under Details > Online shop options.
You add several specific products by entering their product numbers, separated by commas, as a condition in the filter.
Important
Keep these four rules in mind so that Xentral maintains only the desired products in Shopware.
-
Assign only products that you also want to offer in Shopware. Otherwise, Xentral publishes other products unintentionally, and unnecessary error messages occur.
-
If you remove a product from the filter, Xentral does not delete it in Shopware. Xentral simply no longer updates it. The article Shopware 6: FAQs & best practices describes how to take a product out of the shop.
-
New products are added to the filter automatically overnight. To add them immediately, use Synchronize products in the product under Details > Online shop options.
-
When you apply the filter, Xentral transfers all matching products once. Afterward, Xentral transfers a product again only when something changes on it in Xentral.
Next, set up the data that Xentral transfers per feature, see the article Shopware 6: Setting up workflows.
