With the WooCommerce integration, you connect your WooCommerce shop to Xentral. WooCommerce is an open-source plugin for WordPress and is suited for companies that want to customize and extend their shop flexibly. Xentral handles order processing with auto-shipment, books the stock levels, and keeps products, prices, and stock levels in your shop up to date.
You find all integrations under Settings > Integrations. There, you open your WooCommerce integration via the gear icon and carry out all settings in the two tabs Configuration and Workflows.
When you create the integration, you select which data Xentral exchanges with WooCommerce. The following options are available:

In addition, the integration supports these WooCommerce specifics:
-
Custom order statuses: In addition to the standard WooCommerce statuses, you also use statuses that you created via plugins as triggers for the import.
-
Status after pickup: After the import, Xentral sets the order in WooCommerce to a status of your choice, if you want.
-
Plugins: Xentral transfers meta texts to the fields of the Yoast SEO plugin and tracking numbers to the fields of the Shipment Tracking plugin.
-
No import of products from WooCommerce: Xentral is the leading system for products. You transfer existing products from your shop once via CSV import, see the article Importing data via CSV import.
-
No stock levels per WooCommerce storage location: Xentral reports one stock level per product, the sum of the selected Xentral warehouses.
-
No project per channel: All imported orders receive the same Xentral project.
-
No meta texts without Yoast SEO and no tracking without Shipment Tracking: Without the plugins, Xentral cannot transfer this data.
-
No feedback on returns and refunds: The integration does not transfer returns and credit notes from Xentral to WooCommerce.
-
No orders with unknown products: Xentral does not import orders with a product that is not created in Xentral.
-
No import of older orders: Xentral only retrieves orders that are at most 3 days old and were created after you activated the order import. You import older orders specifically via the order number in the journal.
-
You run a WooCommerce shop with a hosting provider that is designed for your traffic, and you have administrator access to WordPress.
-
You are logged in to Xentral with administrator permissions.
-
Your shop is prepared for the integration, see the article WooCommerce: Setting up the shop.
-
You can use standard integrations such as WooCommerce in every Xentral plan.
WooCommerce is a standard integration from Xentral. It is not charged: In usage-based billing (Usage Based Pricing), its processes count neither as flows nor as API calls and do not use up your included volume. Custom flows and customizations that you use in addition count as flows; the API calls they contain do not count. Rate limits restrict, among other things, the number of flows and the number of components per flow.
Note
For WooCommerce, there is also the older integration via the shop importer. All articles in this section describe the current WooCommerce integration. If you still use the older integration, you find it in the article Online shops (Legacy). How you update to the current version is explained in the article Updating the shop importer.
Note the following when switching WooCommerce:
-
In WooCommerce, create a separate REST API key with Read/Write permission for the new integration.
-
When you switch, you can adopt the product assignment from the existing integration. The filter criterion in the product assignment is then the online shop UUID of the old integration. Check whether the number of products found is correct.
-
Deactivate the live mode of the old integration before you set the new integration live. Otherwise, Xentral imports orders twice. If the deactivation cannot be saved, reload the page, clear the browser cache, or work in an incognito window.
