Before Xentral automatically reports offers, prices, and stock levels to your marketplace and retrieves orders, you test the setup with a few products. Only when the test data arrives as expected do you switch the integration to production. This way, you avoid incorrect prices or stock levels on the marketplace.
-
Product assignment, general settings, and workflows are set up.
-
If you have activated the Products feature, the category mapping in the Mirakl back office is complete.
-
The mandatory fields in all sub-tabs that you want to use are filled in.
-
Navigate to Settings > Integrations, click on the gear icon for your Mirakl integration, and open the Workflows tab.
-
In each sub-tab that you want to use, activate the Active option.
-
Click on Save.
If a mandatory field is missing, Xentral displays an error message. In that case, check the affected sub-tab for empty mandatory fields, fill them in, and save again. With Mirakl, these are mainly the following:
Sub-tab |
Mandatory fields |
|---|---|
|
Offers |
Article assignment, Status for new offers, Tax rate (standard), Tax rate (reduced) |
|
Orders |
Sales channel <> Project assignment, Payment method assignment, Shipping methods assignment, Item number for shipping costs, Item number for discount |
As long as Channel active is switched off, Xentral does not exchange any data automatically yet. You now test the active features specifically via the journal. Xentral does not transfer features that are not active, not even via the journal.
-
Limit the product assignment to one or a few test products, for example with Product number == 100001 (see the article Mirakl: Assigning products).
-
In the main menu, navigate to Automation > Journal and filter by your Mirakl integration (Channel column).
-
Trigger the transfer of the test products and check in the Mirakl back office whether offer, price, and stock level arrive correctly.
-
Accept a first order for a test product in the Mirakl back office and import it in the journal in the Orders tab with Import sales orders, specifically via its order number.
-
Check the order in Xentral: project, customer, payment method, shipping method, shipping costs, discounts, and taxes.
-
Ship the test order and check in the Mirakl back office whether the shipping status and tracking number have arrived. If you use Receipts, also check the invoice.
Caution
Before you go live, make sure that the integration transfers your test data correctly and as expected.
-
In the configuration of your integration, open the Configuration tab and, there, the General settings sub-tab.
-
In the Identity section, set the Mode to Production.
-
In the Status section, turn on the Channel active switch and click on Save.
Xentral now starts the automatic data exchange in the background. Then expand the product assignment to all products that you want to sell on the marketplace.
In the journal under Automation > Journal, you see all transfers of your integrations. There, you can:
-
filter by channel (Channel column), status, and time period, for example with the quick filters Today, Yesterday, and Last 14 days
-
trigger individual records again via the icon in the row for running again, or trigger multiple selected or all filtered records again, all filtered records in the Articles tab with Synchronize filtered and in the Orders tab with Re-run filtered
-
import an order in the Orders tab specifically via its order number with Import sales orders
