Each Mirakl marketplace has its own categories and attributes. For the marketplace to understand your product data from Xentral, you map it once in the Mirakl back office. After that, Xentral transfers new and changed products automatically.
You only need the category mapping if you supply product data from Xentral to the marketplace. If you maintain product data directly in the marketplace, you can skip this step.

You have generated and downloaded an initial import file in the Articles workflow (see the article Mirakl: Setting up workflows).

You have access to the Mirakl back office of your marketplace.

Log in to the Mirakl back office of your marketplace.

Navigate to Settings > Catalog mapping.

Click on Use mapping wizard.
The wizard guides you through these steps:

Import product file: Upload the initial import file from Xentral.

Categorization

Category mapping: Assign your Xentral categories to the categories of the marketplace.

Attribute mapping: Assign your product fields and custom fields to the attributes of the marketplace.

Value mapping (optional, depending on the marketplace)

Define rules

Summary and validation
Menus and steps belong to the Mirakl platform and can differ slightly depending on the marketplace.
Note
For Conrad and voelkner, you additionally define in the Offers workflow whether the marketplace-specific fields come from the properties or the custom fields of your products.
In the Workflows tab, activate the Products sub-tab as soon as the mapping is complete and your tests have been successful (see the article Mirakl: Going live).
