Before you connect a Mirakl marketplace to Xentral, you prepare your seller account in the Mirakl back office of the marketplace. There, you need the credentials for Xentral and the names that you assign later in the workflows.
-
The operator has activated you as a seller on the marketplace. You clarify the activation and the contract directly with the marketplace.
-
You can log in to the Mirakl back office of your marketplace.
-
Log in to the Mirakl back office of your marketplace.
-
Generate an API key for your seller account and copy it.
-
Note the URL of the Mirakl interface of your marketplace. Each marketplace has its own URL.
-
If you run multiple shops in one Mirakl account, for example for different countries, note the shop ID of each shop. Without a shop ID, Xentral uses the default shop of your account.
Caution
Treat the API key like a password. Anyone who knows the key can access your seller account.
In the workflows, you assign values of the marketplace to the values in Xentral. To do so, have the following ready from the Mirakl back office:
-
Payment methods: You enter the payment methods in Xentral exactly as the marketplace names them.
-
Carriers: Xentral loads the list from the marketplace. Check whether your carriers are stored there.
-
Channels: If your marketplace has multiple sales channels, you assign each one to a Xentral project.
-
Document type for invoices: If you use the Receipts feature, you select the document type under which the marketplace expects invoices.
Clarify with the operator how your products get onto the marketplace:
-
The marketplace already knows your products (for example via GTIN/EAN): You only need the Synchronize offers (incl. prices and stocks) feature.
-
You supply the product data yourself: You additionally need the Synchronize articles (excl. prices and stocks) feature, and after creating them, you carry out the category mapping once in the Mirakl back office.
