Here you find answers to frequently asked questions about the Mirakl integration and tips from practice.
I sell on multiple Mirakl marketplaces. Do I need multiple integrations? Yes. Each marketplace has its own seller account with its own URL and API key. Create a separate integration for each marketplace. If there is a dedicated integration for the marketplace in the catalog, for example Conrad or Hornbach, use it.
My marketplace is not on the list. Can I still connect it? Yes, if it runs on Mirakl. Use the general Mirakl integration and enter the URL and API key of your marketplace.
I sell on a marketplace in multiple countries. How do I separate the shops? Create a separate integration for each shop and enter the matching Shop-Id in the general settings. This way, you can use separate projects, warehouses, and settings for each country.
No data is being transferred at all. Check whether the Mode in the general settings is set to Production and Channel active is turned on, and whether the affected sub-tab is set to Active in the Workflows tab.
I only want to transfer prices and stock levels. Do I need the category mapping? No. You only need the category mapping and the Products feature if you supply product data from Xentral to the marketplace. For prices and stock levels, the Offers feature is enough, provided the marketplace already knows your products.
Do I have to upload the product file again with every change? No. You only need the initial file once for the category mapping. After that, Xentral transfers new and changed product master data automatically.
I maintain prices directly in the marketplace. How do I prevent Xentral from overwriting them? In the Offers workflow, leave the Prices section inactive and activate only the stock level. Note: In that case, the offer must already exist in the marketplace for Xentral to update the stock level.
Xentral does not create any offers.
-
A new offer needs a price and a stock level. Check whether both sections are active.
-
Check the Article assignment: The selected attribute (marketplace product number, GTIN, EAN, or external number) must match in Xentral and in the marketplace.
-
Check whether the product is included in the product assignment.
The marketplace uses its own product numbers (SKU). How do I assign my offers? Maintain the SKU of the marketplace as an external number on your products and, in the Offers workflow, select the option SKU via external number for Article assignment. Below it, enter the External numbers designation.
How do I take a product off sale? A product that you remove from the product assignment stays on the marketplace and simply no longer receives updates. Therefore, deactivate the offer in the Mirakl back office.
Xentral does not retrieve any orders.
-
Check whether the Orders workflow is set to Active.
-
Check whether the orders are accepted in the Mirakl back office. Xentral only retrieves accepted orders. With Accept orders automatically, Xentral accepts them itself.
The error message "Missing payment method" appears during the order import. Add the payment method from the error message under Payment method assignment. Write it exactly as the marketplace passes it. Then trigger the order again in the journal.
"Customer could not be created" appears during the order import. Mirakl releases the delivery address only after the order is accepted. Accept the order in the Mirakl back office and import it again in the journal.
Why does Xentral not assign marketplace customers via the email address? With Mirakl, only Name & address is available for the customer assignment.
The tracking number does not arrive in the marketplace. In the Order status & tracking sub-tab, check the carrier assignment. Each Xentral shipping method that you use to ship marketplace orders needs an assigned carrier from Mirakl.
Can I transfer delivery notes to the marketplace? No. The Receipts feature only transfers invoices. For Hornbach and voelkner, the feature does not exist.
-
Start small: Test with one product and one order before you expand the filter.
-
Only assign listed products: Include only products in the product assignment that are meant to be sold on the marketplace.
-
Postage item without a price: If shipping costs should come from the marketplace, do not give the postage item a selling price.
-
Splitting shipping: If you sell products with a reduced tax rate, activate the Split shipping module.
-
Checking the customer group: If you transfer prices of a customer group, every product in the filter needs a price for this group.
-
Clarifying the marketplace’s special features: Before you start, ask the operator about mandatory attributes and special features, for example the document type for invoices.
