Here you find answers to frequently asked questions about the Tradebyte integration and tips for day-to-day operation. You find information on individual error messages in the article Error messages and solutions.
The order retrieval fails with "Failed Tradebyte call (Code 401): Channel not allowed for the user." What can I do?
Your API user in TB.One does not have access to at least one of the channels that you selected under TB.One Channel in Xentral. In TB.One, navigate to Admin > Users > Employees, open the API user, and activate all channels that you handle through Xentral under Sales channels for API access.
-
Activate the channel for your API user in TB.One.
-
In Xentral, select the channel in the general settings under TB.One Channel.
-
In the workflows, in the Orders sub-tab under Sales channel <> Project assignment, assign a project to the channel.
-
Check whether the payment methods and package types of the channel are assigned in the workflows.
In the workflows, in the Orders sub-tab under Sales channel <> Project assignment, assign a separate project to each channel. Orders from channels without an assignment receive the Default project.
Xentral transfers products to TB.One. You control in TB.One on which channels a product appears. Check the channel assignment of the product, the mandatory fields of the channel, and the translations there.
The "product number" identifies the product in TB.One and must be unique. By default, Xentral uses the product ID. Alternatively, select Article no.. Define the setting before the first transfer.
Check whether the data type Master data (excl. stocks) is active in the workflows in the Products sub-tab and whether the language is created with an import key in TB.One under Products > Translation > Languages.
No. Xentral automatically adds new products that match the filter to the assignment overnight. To do it immediately, use the Synchronize products button in the product under Details > Online shop options.
If you selected a Customer group in the workflows in the Prices sub-tab, Xentral transfers only the price of this customer group. If the product has no price there, Xentral does not use the default price. Maintain the price in the customer group or leave the field empty to transfer the default price.
Check the following points:
-
The order is not older than three days and was created after the Orders sub-tab was activated.
-
The channel is selected under TB.One Channel and activated for your API user.
-
All products of the order exist in Xentral. Xentral does not import orders with unknown products and displays an error in the journal.
-
The integration is switched to production and the Orders sub-tab is active.
-
Navigate to Automation > Journal.
-
Filter by your Tradebyte integration and select the Orders tab.
-
Filter the affected order and trigger it again in the row via the icon for running again or with Re-run filtered. Alternatively, import it with Import sales orders, specifically via its order number.
On the left, enter the export key of the payment method from TB.One. You find it in TB.One under Master data > Payment > Payment methods. The spelling must match exactly.
In the workflows, in the Order status & tracking sub-tab, check whether the sub-tab is active and whether your carrier is assigned to the correct import key of the package type from TB.One (Master data > Shipping > Package types).
Going live takes place in two stages. In addition to the Active switch in each sub-tab of the workflows, the Mode of the integration must be set to Production in the general settings and the Channel active switch must be turned on (see the article Tradebyte: Going live). Also note: Xentral only synchronizes products when they change in Xentral.
