In the general settings, you adjust the connection to TB.One, for example when the password of your API user changes or you want to handle additional channels through Xentral. You also switch the integration to production and select the features here.
You have added Tradebyte (see the article Adding Tradebyte).
-
Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
-
Click on the gear icon for your Tradebyte integration.
-
Carry out the settings in the Configuration tab.
-
Click on Save.
Tip
Use the Search settings button (keyboard shortcut Shift+F). Enter a keyword, for example "SFTP", and click on a result. Xentral jumps directly to the matching setting, even in the other tab.
Field name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Channel active (Status section) |
A switch that controls whether Xentral synchronizes and exports the data of this integration. Activate it only after you have tested all settings (see the article Tradebyte: Going live). |
|
Name (Identity section) |
Name under which the integration appears in Xentral, for example in lists, filters, and logs. The name must be unique. You can change it afterward. |
|
Mode (Identity section) |
Development or Production. In Development mode, the integration is not used productively: Xentral does not process any events, but targeted tests are possible. Production integrations send real data to the sales channel (see the article Tradebyte: Going live). |
|
Channel type, Internal name (Connection section) |
Read-only. You can no longer change the channel type. |
|
Features (Features section) |
One switch per feature: Articles, Stocks, Orders, Prices, and Order status & tracking. If you activate a feature here afterward, it appears as its own sub-tab in the Workflows tab. |
Field name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
URL |
Address of the Tradebyte interface, prefilled with https://rest.trade-server.net. |
|
Dealer number |
Your merchant ID from TB.One. |
|
Username |
Username of your API user in TB.One. |
|
Password / API-Key |
Password of your API user. If you have changed it in TB.One, enter the new password here. |
|
TB.One Channel |
Channels whose orders Xentral imports. If you add a channel, also activate it for your API user in TB.One and assign a project to it in the workflows. |
|
Server, Port, User, Password |
Credentials of your SFTP access in TB.One. |
The general settings are divided into the sections Status, Identity, Connection, Features, Type-specific settings, and Credentials. The credentials are located in the Credentials section, which you save separately.
Note
For Tradebyte, you set tax rates, country of the company headquarters, and the "product number" in the workflows in the Products sub-tab (see the article Tradebyte: Setting up workflows). The integration does not offer external numbers.
Caution
Deleting removes the integration with all its settings irrevocably. You cannot restore it.
If you no longer need the integration, for example because you only created it for testing, you can delete it. Check beforehand that you have selected the correct integration. In the overview under Settings > Integrations, click on the three-dot menu > Delete in the row of the integration. Xentral asks you once more whether you are sure before deleting.
