Kaufland is one of the largest online marketplaces in Europe. Through Kaufland Global Markets, you sell in multiple countries with a single seller account, the so-called storefronts, e.g., Germany, Austria, Poland, or the Czech Republic. With the Kaufland integration, you automatically synchronize orders, shipping notifications, stock levels, prices, and invoices between Xentral and Kaufland.
The integration includes five features. You select them in the wizard when you create the integration and can change them later in the general settings:
-
Synchronize stocks (Xentral > sales channel): Xentral reports the stock from one or more warehouses to Kaufland. You can take reservations, open orders, the stock correction value, or a pseudo stock number into account.
-
Synchronize orders (sales channel > Xentral): Xentral imports Kaufland orders and assigns them to a project per storefront. Xentral assigns customers, shipping costs, discounts, and taxes according to your rules.
-
Synchronize prices (Xentral > sales channel): Xentral transfers the standard price or the price of a customer group to Kaufland.
-
Synchronize order statuses and tracking (Xentral > sales channel): Xentral reports shipping and the tracking number to Kaufland. If you cancel an order in Xentral, Xentral also cancels it on Kaufland on request.
-
Synchronize receipts (Xentral > sales channel): Xentral transfers invoices as a PDF file to Kaufland.
The integration automatically excludes products that Kaufland does not accept from the transfer. This way, no recurring error messages occur for products without a Kaufland offer.
-
Creating products on Kaufland (listings): The integration does not create offers on Kaufland and does not transfer product data such as title, description, images, or categories.
-
Multiple storefronts in one integration: If you sell in multiple countries, you select all storefronts in one Kaufland integration and assign them to separate projects via Sales channel <> Project assignment.
-
Assigning payment and shipping methods: In Xentral, Kaufland orders always receive the default payment method and the default shipping method that you specify in the workflow. There is no assignment table.
If you need a function that the standard does not cover, you can extend the integration with customizing. See the article Customizing with Xentral Flows
-
You have a Kaufland seller account with access to the Kaufland Seller Portal. There you generate the client key and secret key for the connection. See the article Kaufland: Setting up the marketplace
-
You have administrator rights in Xentral.
-
You have prepared Xentral: A project, postage items, discount items, a payment method, and a shipping method are created. Postage and discount items are mandatory for the order import. See the article Preparing Xentral for the integration.
-
The product numbers in Xentral match the product numbers (SKU) of your Kaufland offers, or you have stored external numbers. See the article Working with different product numbers in the shop/marketplace and in Xentral.
-
You can use the Kaufland integration in every Xentral plan.
The Kaufland integration is a standard Xentral integration and is free of charge. With usage-based pricing, it counts neither as a flow nor as an API call and does not use up your included volume. If you extend the integration with customizing, the customizing counts as a flow. See the article Costs, plans and limits
Note
Are you still using the previous Kaufland integration via the shop importer? Xentral installs the new integration for you and switches over automatically. Before the switch, the order import runs in parallel for a while so that Xentral can detect potential problems early. Xentral takes over your settings and the price synchronization. Xentral informs you of the date beforehand and gets in touch as soon as the switch has taken place. You take care of two things yourself:
-
Before the date, maintain the product assignments (external numbers) in your previous Kaufland integration. The new integration needs them for stock and orders.
-
To transfer products to Kaufland, you then set up feed management.
