With the product assignment, you specify for which products Xentral synchronizes data with Kaufland. For Kaufland, this concerns stock and price: Xentral reports both only for products in the product filter. The selection applies to all workflows of the integration.
The integration does not create offers on Kaufland; it only updates offers that already exist there. Therefore, add only products to the filter that you offer on Kaufland.
-
The Kaufland integration is created. See the article Adding Kaufland
-
The products you want to assign are available on Kaufland as offers.
-
The product numbers in Xentral match the product numbers on Kaufland, or you have stored external numbers. See the article Working with different product numbers in the shop/marketplace and in Xentral.
-
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and click on the gear icon for your Kaufland integration.
-
In the Configuration tab, switch to the Article assignment sub-tab.
-
In the Configure filter card, define the conditions a product must meet: After WHEN, select the field, the operator, and the value. You add further conditions with Add single condition. For the first tests, select a condition that matches exactly one product, e.g., the product number of a test product.
-
Click on Save and apply and confirm the displayed number of matches. Xentral applies the filter and creates a new product list from it.
Under Previously applied filters, you can see earlier applications with the number of products and the date.
Xentral adds all products that meet the conditions to the product assignment. In live operation, you extend the filter to all products you offer on Kaufland.
Tip
Mark your Kaufland products in Xentral consistently, e.g., with a tag or the online shop options in the product. You use this marking as the only condition in the filter.
The Kaufland integration checks the assignment to Kaufland itself. If a product has no offer on Kaufland or Kaufland does not accept it, Xentral deactivates its assignment to this integration. If the offer exists again, Xentral reactivates the assignment. This way, no error messages recur every day. You do not need to set anything up for this.
Xentral can maintain the external numbers separately per storefront, e.g., for kaufland.de and kaufland.sk.
Important
These four rules apply to all integrations, including Kaufland.
-
Only assign products that are listed on Kaufland. Xentral automatically excludes products without a Kaufland offer from the transfer. See the section "Products without a Kaufland offer".
-
Removing does not delete. If you remove a product from the filter, its offer remains on Kaufland. Xentral simply no longer updates stock and price. See the article Removing products from the shop/marketplace listing.
-
New products are added to the filter overnight. If a new product meets the conditions, Xentral adds it during the next nightly run. There is no immediate synchronization of individual products here.
-
Being in the filter does not mean being synchronized immediately. Xentral transfers the stock and price of a product as soon as either of them changes in Xentral. If you want to synchronize immediately, trigger the transfer in the journal. See the article Import/export journal.
-
You can see whether the transfer for a product was successful in the journal under Automation > Journal, filtered by your Kaufland integration (Channel column).
