Before real Kaufland orders, stock levels, and prices flow, you test the integration with a small amount of data. This is especially worthwhile for the price synchronization: An incorrect price is immediately visible on Kaufland. To do so, you first activate the individual workflows and test them. Afterward, you set the entire integration live.
-
The product assignment and workflows are set up. See the articles Kaufland: Assigning products and Kaufland: Setting up workflows
-
All required fields in the workflows are filled in, e.g., Item number for shipping costs, Item number for discount, and the carrier assignment.
-
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and click on the gear icon for your Kaufland integration.
-
Switch to the Workflows tab.
-
In each feature you want to use, activate the Active switch and click on Save.
If required fields are empty, Xentral displays an error message and marks the affected field. Enter the value, click on Save, and activate the switch again.
As long as Channel active is switched off, Xentral does not exchange any data automatically yet. You now test the active features specifically via the journal. Xentral does not transfer features that are not active, not even via the journal.
-
Limit the product filter to one or a few test products that are listed on Kaufland. See the article Kaufland: Assigning products.
-
In the main menu, navigate to Automation > Journal and filter by your Kaufland integration (Channel column). In the Articles tab, trigger the stock and price transfer for a test product and check both in the Kaufland Seller Portal.
-
In the journal, select the Orders tab, click on Import sales orders, and import a Kaufland test order selectively via its order number.
-
Check the order in Xentral: project, customer, payment method, shipping method, shipping costs, discount, and tax.
-
Ship the test order with a tracking number and check on Kaufland whether the shipping and shipment tracking arrive. If you use the Receipts feature, also check whether the invoice is available on Kaufland.
If a transfer fails, the journal displays the error message. Correct the setting and trigger the record again: in the row via the rerun icon, or for all filtered entries in the Products tab with Synchronize filtered, and in the Orders tab with Re-run filtered. See the article Import/export journal.
Caution
Set the integration live only when your test data arrives correctly and as expected. After going live, Xentral imports all new Kaufland orders and transfers stock levels and prices for all products in the filter.
-
Switch to the Configuration tab and there to the General settings sub-tab.
-
In the Identity section, set the Mode to Production.
-
In the Status section, activate the Channel active switch and click on Save.
Xentral starts the data exchange with Kaufland and from now on runs it automatically in the background. In the overview under Settings > Integrations, the active features are marked green.
-
Extend the product filter to all products you offer on Kaufland. Xentral transfers stock and price as soon as they change. To synchronize all products immediately, filter them in the journal and click on Synchronize filtered.
-
Regularly check the journal with the status filter for failed transfers during the first few days. With the quick filters Today, Yesterday, and Last 14 days, you narrow down the time period.
Tip
Through the system status, you can be notified by email when warnings or errors occur during the order import. See the article System Status.
