Here you find answers to frequently asked questions about the Kaufland integration and tips for smooth operation. The article General FAQ answers general questions about all integrations.
Can I create products on Kaufland with the integration?
No. The integration updates stock and price of existing offers; it does not create offers and does not transfer product data such as title, images, or categories.
I sell in multiple countries. What do I need to keep in mind?
One Kaufland integration can serve multiple storefronts. In the credentials under Kaufland Storefronts, select all countries you have activated on Kaufland. With Sales channel <> Project assignment, you assign each country to a separate project.
Which price does Xentral transfer to Kaufland?
Without any further setting, the standard price of the product. If you select a Customer group in the Prices workflow, Xentral transfers only the price of this group. This way, you can maintain different prices for Kaufland than in your shop, e.g., to factor in Kaufland fees.
Why does the stock or price of a product not arrive on Kaufland?
Check these points in order:
-
The product is in the product filter of the Kaufland integration.
-
The Stock or Prices workflow is active and the mode of the integration is set to "Production mode".
-
The product number matches the Kaufland offer, or an external number is stored.
-
Kaufland has an offer for this product. The integration automatically excludes products without a Kaufland offer from the transfer.
-
The stock or price has changed since the product was added to the filter. Otherwise, trigger the transfer in the journal.
Why do all Kaufland orders receive the same shipping method?
The Kaufland integration does not assign shipping methods individually. Every order receives the Default shipping method from the Orders workflow. If you need a different shipping method per country or order, use separate projects per storefront or shipping rules. See the article Shipping rules.
A Kaufland order is missing in Xentral. What can I do?
Check whether the order’s storefront is selected in your Kaufland integration under Kaufland Storefronts and whether the journal displays an error for the order. Fix the cause and import the order again selectively via its order number in the journal in the Orders tab with Import sales orders.
Does Xentral also cancel orders on Kaufland?
Yes, if the Cancel orders automatically in the sales channel? switch is active in the Order status and tracking workflow. It is active by default.
I have been using a Smarty script so far. Does it continue to work?
No. Smarty scripts do not run in the integration. You implement individual adjustments as customizing with Xentral Flows. See the article Customizing with Xentral Flows
Does the integration cost anything?
No. The Kaufland integration is a standard integration and does not use up your included volume under usage-based pricing. See the article Costs, plans and limits
-
Maintain external numbers before you start: If your product numbers differ from the Kaufland product numbers, store the external numbers before you extend the product filter.
-
Separate payment method for Kaufland: Create a payment method "Kaufland" and select it as the Default payment method. This way, you immediately recognize Kaufland orders in reports.
-
One project per storefront: Assign each country to a separate project via Sales channel <> Project assignment. This way, you separate sales and control shipping and receipts per country.
-
Test prices first: Check the price synchronization with a test product before you add all products to the filter. Pay attention to the Transfer net prices setting in the general settings.
-
Calculate stock conservatively: Activate Consider reservations or Consider open orders so that Kaufland does not sell goods that are already assigned to another order.
