In addition to the default price, Xentral also transfers advanced prices to Shopware 6: tiered prices, prices for customer groups, prices in additional currencies, and prices with time-limited validity. In Shopware, these prices end up as advanced prices that are attached to customer groups or price rules (Rule Builder). This article shows you the two ways of assigning them and how to transfer default prices with validity.
-
The Shopware 6 integration is set up and the feature Synchronize prices (Xentral > sales channel) is activated.
-
In the workflows, the Currency assignment is maintained in the Prices area.
-
The customer groups (Shopware: Settings > Customer groups) or price rules (Shopware: Settings > Shop > Rule Builder) to which you want to assign prices exist in Shopware.
The assignment determines whether Xentral transfers time-limited validity:
Assignment |
Target in Shopware |

-
Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
-
Click on the gear icon for your Shopware 6 integration and switch to the Workflows tab.
-
In the Prices area, in the Advanced prices section, activate the Activate advanced pricing settings switch.
-
Under Update strategy, select whether prices that you maintain directly in Shopware are to be retained.
Next, under How should the extended prices be assigned?, select the assignment that matches your prices and follow the corresponding section. You save the settings from these steps together with the assignment in the respective section.
-
Select Assign customer groups from Xentral to the customer groups in the shop.
-
In the Customer group assignment table, select the Xentral customer group on the left and the matching Shopware customer group on the right. You assign each Xentral customer group only once.
-
Click on Save.
For each assignment, Xentral creates a price rule in the Shopware Rule Builder in which the customer group is stored as the condition.
Important
Only with this assignment does Xentral transfer prices with time-limited validity. Xentral checks daily whether a price currently applies and transfers the current price of the day to Shopware.
-
Select Assign customer groups from Xentral to the price rules in the shop.
-
In the Assignment of the price rules table, select the Xentral customer group on the left and the matching Shopware price rule on the right. You assign each Xentral customer group to only one price rule.
-
Click on Save.
Note
With this assignment, Xentral does not transfer time-limited validity. Xentral does not change existing price rules in Shopware and does not add conditions such as a validity period. The price then applies in Shopware without a time limit.
Even if you do not use your own Shopware customer groups, you can transfer default prices with validity or quantity tiers.
-
Select Assign customer groups from Xentral to the customer groups in the shop.
-
In the Xentral column, select the entry Default price or type in "Default price".
-
In the Shopware 6 column, assign your default customer group.
-
Click on Save.
Xentral transfers the default price with its validity to Shopware and, as with option 1, creates a price rule in the Rule Builder for it.
Note
Xentral also transfers a single default price without tiers and without validity without advanced prices. No assignment is needed for this.
Note
If you have selected a customer group in the Customer group field (Price selection section), Xentral transfers only its price as the main price and does not fall back on the default price for products without this price.
