While you define in the workflows how Xentral synchronizes with Shopify in general, you control individual products with the online shop options. Not every product should be treated the same in every shop: For example, you can report a pseudo warehouse number for a product or automatically mark a product as unavailable after it has sold out, without changing the settings of the integration.
-
The product is assigned to your Shopify integration, see the article Shopify: Assigning products.
-
For pseudo warehouse number and stock correction value, the matching options are activated in the Stock workflow, see the article Shopify: Setting up workflows.
You can find the online shop options in the product under Details > Online shop options. The form contains many fields; only these are relevant for the Shopify integration. All other fields belong to older connections, and you can ignore them.
Field name |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Remaining quantity (clearance) |
Activate the option so that the product is automatically considered no longer available in Shopify as soon as the remaining stock is sold. |
|
Pseudo stock number |
Enter a fixed value that Xentral reports to Shopify instead of the real stock. In the Stock workflow, Use pseudo stock number instead of real stock numbers must be activated. |
|
Stock correction value |
Enter a value to change the reported stock by a flat amount, for example -5. In the Stock workflow, Consider stock correction value must be activated. |
|

|
Product inactive |
Activate the option to take the product out of your offering. |
The values initially apply to all shops. If you connect multiple shops, you can define them differently for one shop.
-
Open the product and switch to Details > Online shop options.
-
Click on + New entry.
-
In the dropdown menu, select the online shop for which different values should apply.
-
Clear the check mark at Settings from product. Only then can you edit the fields.
-
Enter the values for this shop, for example pseudo warehouse number, stock correction value, pseudo price, or remaining quantity.
-
Click on Save.
The entry also links the product with the shop. You can use this link as a filter criterion in the product assignment.
