Commission/Consignment Warehouse – Xentral help center

The module Commission/Consignment warehouse allows you to define commission warehouses and also assign them to customers, so that the goods are automatically posted to the set commission warehouse when they are delivered to the customer. Invoices can be issued from this warehouse accordingly after the withdrawal, or the warehouse can be adjusted manually.

The commission warehouse can also be thought of as a virtual warehouse, where you park the goods for the time being in order to keep an eye on them after delivery or to process them later. The module is often used in the field of rental equipment.

Overview

The overview displays all addresses that have orders where a consignment warehouse was specified and were outsourced by a logistics process.

Note

Several orders of one address are combined in one line.

Using the arrow at the front left of each line, you can open the mini detail and get more information about the entry.

Clicking on the curved arrow in the menu column jumps to a new interface that lists all the items of this address on the commission warehouse.

Article summary: If there are multiple identical items, their quantity can be combined into one item

Continue as invoice

At the very bottom of the screen is a dropdown menu to add the selected items to an invoice with their quantities inserted in the quantity field.

Clicking the Execute button will create an invoice with the items. The selected quantity will also be posted from the commission warehouse.

Remove from stock only

If the items in the commission warehouse only need to be removed from stock and no invoice is to be created, select the Remove from stock only option.

Product

In the Product tab the orders are divided into their positions so that you are able to see the individual products in the commission warehouse.

Rental extension module

The filter overdue items, the three columns rental from, rental until and comment, as well as the usable menu icons appear as soon as you own the rental module.

Specify commission warehouse in the order

You can select the commission warehouse in a sales order in the Details mask.

As a result, when you continue to the delivery note and remove the merchandise from stock, it is posted to the consignment warehouse at the same time.

You will then find this merchandise, as described above, under Administration > AppStore > Consignment warehouse.

Store commission warehouse in customer

If you use certain commission warehouses for certain customers, it can also be stored directly in the customer. This will automatically fill the field for the commission warehouse when creating an order.

You can set the commission warehouse for this customer under Address > Details > Payment conditions / taxation.
