DATEV Unternehmen Online is a cloud-based solution that lets you and your accounting team manage all receipts and postings digitally. You can save receipts directly in the cloud and access up-to-date data at any time, which makes collaborating with your tax consultant easier. Your tax consultant can access the accounting data in real time and handle tasks such as the annual financial statement directly, without the need to transfer data manually. This makes the entire accounting process more efficient and flexible.
Tip
You can transfer your Xentral data to DATEV Unternehmen Online in two ways:

Manually via the DATEV Belegtransfer (= XML upload for receipts). See below in this article.

Automatically via the DATEV interface, see article DATEV Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0 (Unternehmen Online).
Proceed as follows to export data to DATEV Unternehmen Online from Xentral.

Enter the data (for example, the client and advisor numbers) for the initial master data setup for the transfer and save it.

Carry out the standard DATEV export configurations you need. Decide, for example, whether 0 EUR entries are included or not, whether you want to insert a test entry, and so on.

Set additional export properties per batch. Examples are: export invoices and credit notes, export liabilities, export accounts, allocation for document field 1, cost center field, etc.

Export the invoices & credit notes, liabilities, and bank accounts in DATEV format and import them into DATEV via the Import of posting batches function.

Export the master data of your customers and suppliers (debtors and creditors) and import it into DATEV in DATEV format via the Import of master data function.
