Xentral’s Mobile Inventory App is a solution that allows you to keep track of your inventory anywhere, anytime without being tied to a fixed office or location. Instead of tediously walking through warehouses and manually writing down inventory, you simply use a mobile device to scan barcodes and update inventory in Xentral in real time, saving you a lot of time while working with significantly reduced error rates.
Important
The Mobile Inventory App is available free of charge to Xentral customers with a Business or Pro plan. You can download the app free of charge on your professional MDE devices or smartphones with Android or iOS operating systems. See chapter Installing the Mobile Inventory App to learn all about installing the app. However, take a look at the hardware requirements before downloading the app.

Important
You may also be familiar with the inventory function in the menu Stock > Warehouse Management > Tab: Inventory in Xentral. This is a rudimentary form of inventory counting that cannot be performed on mobile devices and is therefore very error-prone. Furthermore, it is not possible to automatically record warehouse locations and products via barcode scanning. We recommend that you no longer use this functionality, but use the improved usability and the modern technological framework of the Mobile Inventory App.
