Take note of the following limitations for returns management in Xentral:
-
It is possible to create a return from a purchase order that reaches you from your supplier and to book the respective items out of your warehouse. However, the process of returning items to suppliers cannot be fully realized in Xentral. For example, you cannot use the items and their quantities that were originally ordered.
-
It is not possible to handle commission or consignment business models. In such cases, you are stocking items from your supplier in your warehouse and return the quantities that were not sold at a fixed date.
-
You cannot create credit notes or negative liabilities for a supplier. If you try doing this anyway, Xentral creates a position with an amount of € 0.00. Thus, the purchase price is not used.
