The GDPR module is used to record and manage submitted requests for address deletion. In addition, you can create a data sheet with address data for a specific customer.
You can open the module most conveniently via the Smart Search by entering the search term GDPR.
In the Details tab of the GDPR module, you can see a list of all addresses stored in Xentral.
If a customer contacts you and requests the deletion of their address, you can mark it for deletion in the overview by clicking on the pencil icon on the right.
In the popup that is then displayed, enter the reason for the deletion and the deletion date. Click on Save to mark the address for deletion.
By clicking on the only with delete order filter at the top left, you can filter for addresses that have been marked for deletion.
Important
When you mark addresses for deletion in Xentral, the associated data is not automatically deleted. You should under no circumstances delete addresses yourself in the Sales > Addresses menu. In this case, contact Xentral support via ticket or via email to support@xentral.com stating the address. Our team will then manually perform the deletion or, if necessary, the anonymization of the desired address data.
Click on the PDF icon next to the desired address to download a data sheet with all information about the address. This functionality is helpful if a customer contacts you and requests information about the name and address data recorded in your instance. In this case, you can download the data sheet here and send it to the customer by email, for example.
The data sheet for an address is downloaded to your computer in PDF format. It contains the following address information in tabular form:
