In order to export your data from Lexware ERP Premium, you need the following software:
-
LX Connect
-
Razor SQL
Note
All applications must run as 32-bit. Note that both Lexware and LX Connect and Razor SQL must be installed on the same system (server/computer).
-
Start LX Connect and log in with the same credentials as Lexware
-
Select the applicable company and click Start Setup
Next, start Razor SQL and click on "Click to connect to a Database" in the upper left corner to establish the database connection. Click on Connect to establish the connection.
If you have a newer version, you might see this interface first:
From here you can also check which database type is available based on the created connection and select it.
The next step is to select the option with "JDBC" on the page and then you can enter the data accordingly.
Note
The driver data location is available in RazorSQL and can be selected there for the corresponding database type.
Now you should see all database tables of the selected company on the left side.
Under F2 → Owners → F1 → FK_xxx you can find the required data. Depending on your version or software type (Lexware Premium, Trade, Invoice), the tables in which your data can be found may differ. However, they usually start with "FK_".
Find the tables you need and right-click on the table name. Select "View Content (Fetch all Rows)" from the menu to display all contents of the table.
The lower right window shows you the table contents. Click on a column name and then press "CTRL + A" to select the entire table content.
Click on the "Export Query Results" icon to save the data to a file.
You can choose the target format freely, but for xentral we need a CSV file with the column names in the first row. If you have chosen a CSV file as the target format, select the "Delimited File" option and set other properties if necessary.
For a complete data import into Xentral, we need the following files:
-
FK_Address => other delivery addresses
-
FK_Item => item descriptions
-
FK_Order => orders, invoices, offers, credits and delivery notes
-
FK_OrderPos => document items
-
FK_Branches => if you had defined branches in Lexware and you want to take them over
-
FK_Contact person => further contact persons
-
FK_Customer => customer data
-
FK_Customer2Contact person =>assignment of customer to contact person
-
FK_Customer_groups => customer groups
-
FK_Price => prices of the items
-
