How can I manage batches, best before dates, and serial numbers?

If an item is to have a serial number or batch management, you can activate the corresponding options in the item master. In the case of serial numbers, you can also specify whether the serial numbers are only recorded, entered and stored, or whether they are generated during production.

If batch/MHD and serial number items are retrieved or stored, the batch or serial numbers are always queried, and you can quickly enter them using a scanner. Alternatively, you can enter them manually.

During picking in the shipping process, the item scan can occur just as it does during packing in the shipping center. This way, double-checking is also possible.

In production, you can write off batches and serial numbers for incoming products and reassign them for the produced products.
