To provide a better overview of Xentral and its features, every new demo instance is now populated with demo data. You can use the demo data to test different functionalities in Xentral. You can still create your own objects in Xentral and also edit or remove the existing data.

The demo data in Xentral includes: customers, suppliers, products, 3 projects, orders, invoices, delivery notes and purchases. The demo data doesn't include external test systems such as online shops, bank accounts and other integrations.
During the demo period, a banner will be displayed in your Xentral instance reminding you that this is a demo environment. If you decide to use Xentral for your business click the Kontaktiere uns (Contact us) link within the banner to schedule a call with our sales team. Once you start using Xentral for your business we will provide you with an empty instance that you can populate with your own company data.
Deleting test data from the system while keeping all configurations is not possible. Test receipts that have been assigned a number from the number range can no longer be deleted, only cancelled. After a live start with xentral on a certain date, you can ignore all receipts before this date as test files for evaluations and exports.
You can delete receipts with the "cross" icon as long as the document (or order) has not been released. The release will automatically create a sequential number.
In the system settings you can disable the "Release option". Then the next number is assigned directly when a document is created. You can't delete this number anymore.
