The homepage screen of Xentral NextGen provides quick access to your apps and settings. The homepage is divided into several areas.

Business data insight - The homepage screen contains the most important business data in the form of widgets. The information is gathered from your Xentral instance and you can compare data between the current and last month. If there is no data for the current month, the widgets will not be displayed until new data is created. These widgets are only visible to users with admin permissions.
Recommendations - In the Recommendations area you can get information about any outstanding actions waiting for you in Xentral.
My bookmarks - You can manage bookmarks for pages within Xentral and external websites in the My Bookmarks section on the homepage screen. To bookmark the page within Xentral (for example, a product that you started creating but need additional info to complete it) click 
, enter the name for your bookmark and click Create.
The side menu panel includes fewer sections some of which we renamed. You can find more information about the side menu in the Using the menu in Xentral NextGen article.
You can access all Xentral features from the launchpad area. The features are divided in the same way as in the side menu.
The available apps might differ depending on what kind of Xentral package you use.
You can access most administrative settings when you click on your username. You can find more information about the administration menu in the Using the menu in Xentral NextGen article.
