The Xentral NextGen homepage provides you with quick access to your apps and settings. The homepage is divided into several sections.
The Smart search allows you to search quickly and accurately, as well as create new objects such as items and invoices, improve usability through keyboard shortcuts, and provide filtering options to refine the search. You can also find all modules through this search. The search results depend on the user type and the rights settings of the user account.
The side Using the menu in Xentral NextGen includes the most important sections. You can find the most important modules and functions in the top items.
If you use further modules on a daily basis for your business model and want to navigate faster than using the 'Smart Search', you can either create 'Favorites' on the home page or customize and expand the menu to your needs. The settings (= central system settings) can also be reached in the menu bar. They are visible only to admin users. Here you will find all the settings that can be adjusted for the system, including the configuration of company data, adjustment of the documents via text blocks, document language and number ranges for documents.

In the 'Xentral Help' you will find the most important links to the Help center, Academy, Community, as well as the 'Service Partners' and the activation of the 'Service Account'.

Help center: This is where you are right now! You can use the Help center to find answers to your questions, learn more about modules and features, get instructions and resources, and contact our support team directly if you have any questions.

Xentral Academy: Use the Xentral Academy with over 160 specialized videos to streamline your workflows and train your team effectively. This will help you roll out new ERP systems, onboard new employees, and expand your business with proven methods and detailed guidance.

Xentral Community: On the Xentral Community platform, you can find information about current topics and participate in discussions with other users, allowing you to form networks, get support and optimize your business processes.

Find a service partner: If your organization has specific requirements that go beyond standard workflows and basic functionality, you can network with an Xentral Partner near you. A Xentral Partner will also provide support with customizing the software or additional advice. Furthermore, affiliate partners such as consultants and tax experts can provide valuable advice and recommendations to ensure that the ERP solution is optimally tailored to your business needs.

Service account: The service account allows our customer support team to access your cloud-based instance to help you troubleshoot effectively. You can manually enable and disable this account yourself.
In the navigation bar, you will find options such as ‘My license’, ‘My subscription’ and ‘My account’ (including the individual user settings) in the section of your personalized icon. This section serves as a central access point for all the user's personal and specific settings.

Appstore: In the Xentral app store you will find all functions and modules. If you are looking for a module that is not listed in the main menu you can find it here. Modules that are not included in your current plan (= Xentral package) can also be tested here.

My subscription: Information about your currently booked package (= plan).

My license: Your license number is a unique identifier associated with your customer account and therefore linked to your subscriptions or contracts.

System messages: Here you can view system messages (= System Health) and get information about the current status of functions, modules and automation activities in your software. Furthermore, you have the ability to control and customize the display of system messages.

Account settings: In this section you can individualize your personal account settings. Every user in Xentral can set the system language, email and password and configure their own navigation bar.

Logout: Here you can end your session as a user in Xentral and log out.

Privacy: General privacy information about Xentral.

In the 'My Bookmarks' section of the Xentral homepage, you can save bookmarks for internal pages and external websites as a button menu by clicking the bookmark icon, typing a name and clicking 'Create'.
In the navigation bar you will find information about your current Xentral software version as well as the plan you booked (= package).
Homepage: Dashboard with business data insights, recommendations
Business data insights - The homepage contains the most important business data in the form of widgets. The information is gathered from your Xentral instance. You can compare data between the current and past month. If there is no data for the current month, the widgets will not be displayed until new data is created. These widgets are only visible to users with admin rights.
Recommendations - The recommendations section provides information about pending tasks in Xentral.
