You can connect external applications such as Microsoft 365 email accounts or Hubspot to Xentral with OAuth authentication. You can create and revoke the OAuth connections in the respective configuration pages for email accounts, Hubspot, etc.
The OAuth module includes a view where all OAuth connections for your Xentral user are listed. However, be aware that you do not need to access the OAuth view directly - typically, you would initiate any task related to connecting/disconnecting accounts or systems right from their own configuration pages.
Note
You can see only your own OAuth connections, independently of your access rights in Xentral. This is also true for administrators.
In case you wish to access the OAuth view:
-
In the navigation, select Administration, then System > OAuth.
The OAuth view lists all your OAuth connections and allows you to view or delete them. When you delete an OAuth connection, the corresponding account or system will not be able to connect with Xentral anymore.
To revoke OAuth connections, proceed in one of the following ways:
-
In the OAuth view, in the list of available OAuth connections, click the X button on the very right.
-
In the OAuth Account view of the individual OAuth connection, click Revoke authorization. You can access the OAuth Account view by clicking the icon on the very right of a specific OAuth connection in the OAuth overview table.
The OAuth view shows only your own connections. So, even as an administrator, you will not be able to revoke other users' OAuth connections.
If you are an administrator and, for example, you need to revoke the OAuth connections of employees who have left the company, you need to go to the administration interface of the external system that is connected via OAuth (for example, Microsoft 365) and remove the user's access to the system there.
