In version 22.1, we introduce some changes that might affect your current processes and therefore require your attention.
Important
This is relevant for you when you update from a version older than 22.1 to one of the new versions 22.1 or higher.

Some of this information is only relevant for customers with an on-premise instance.

End of life for on-premise instances
At the end of March 2023, we cease on-premise hosting for Xentral instances. We encourage you to migrate your Xentral instance to our cloud - please do not hesitate to contact account@xentral.com for discussing and scheduling your cloud migration, or refer to our website or to our Community for more information.
Be aware that at the end of March 2023 we will stop any support services for on-premise hosted instances. There will be no further bug fixing or updates available. Likewise, we will not issue any further open source versions.

Tip

Note
In case you get an error message after the update it indicates that the old legacy call with the 22.1 does not work anymore.
Please use the wrapper of the REST API for that. To address the REST-API a DIGEST authentication with MD5 encryption must be done. With the wrapper all calls of the standard API can be used, except that no HASH and no api_id must be passed anymore.
