The system message: "Auto-update stock lamps" is the stock feedback to the store.
This notification is only triggered at xentral if stock level changes and xentral reports other, new stock to the store. The reason for this can be a goods receipt or an employee changes the stock levels manually. xentral will send you the system message if you are attached to the "BCC" or enter your email address as default.
Otherwise, the stock change runs typically like this (depending on the store, but mostly standard procedure):
-
There are ten pieces of article X in stock in the store.
-
The customer buys three pieces of article X
-
The store automatically deducts three pieces from 10 pieces → seven pieces are then in stock in the store.
-
Order is imported into xentral, and three pieces are then also deducted from the 10. Therefore there is no difference between store stock and xentral stock. Therefore, there is no stock balancing in the direction of the store.
