There is no separate module for deposit, because this can be covered with existing functions. You can use our JIT parts lists for this.
Here is a short explanation based on an example:
You sell beverages in deposit bottles. So that deposit can be directly booked out of the warehouse and returned, you have to create the bottle as follows:

Water bottle incl. deposit: Mark JIT parts list, no stock item

Water bottle: inventory-managed item (mark stock item), part of the parts list

Deposit: Inventory-managed item (marked stock item), part of parts list.

Now you can add the product "Water bottle incl. deposit" to an order. If the deposit is returned, you can either post it manually or, for example, store it using the cancellation function in the POS stock.
If the deposit is to be displayed, this check mark must not be set:
In addition, you must set this check mark in Project > Settings > Logistics / Shipping. The two inventory-managed items will be added automatically:
