You can use projects for a variety of purposes. They can be used variably, appear in statistics and delimit areas from each other. In projects you can set settings for logistics, service, POS (cash register module) and stationery/number ranges.

Functions of projects
After installation, there is always a default project in xentral. You decide independently if and how many additional projects you need. You can add them at any time. For the start, we recommend checking to what extent you can map the workflows with the standard project
Multiple projects
If you are not sure yet if you want to use multiple projects, you can check the following cases. These are indicators for using multiple projects:
- The total turnover is distributed among several areas of equal importance (e.g. Trade and service)
- The financial accounting export must be separated by more than one area
- One area is B2C and one area is B2B
- There is a point of sale (POS) in addition to the online store (with a separate warehouse)
- There are several online shops
- There are several warehouses, which may not have access to all areas
- There is a precise differentiation of rights for employees in the various Business areas
- There is at least one branch
- There are different logistics processes (eg for stray items, for pallets)
- There are different stationery and number ranges
- Projects are in the conventional sense for customer projects or large orders used
