DPD's connection to xentral enables you to automatically print parcel labels and transfer shipments to the parcel service. More information about DPD eSolutions can be found here
A general overview of the shipping methods and package labels you can use in xentral can be found here
DPD eSolutions offers the following features:
-
Product selection
-
Specification of a self-selected package stamp format

DPD offers different solutions. For xentral you need the DPD partner solution. This can be activated by your account manager, xentral is listed here. This information should be sufficient for your account manager.
You can find the module under DPD → eSolutions → Partner solutions → Plugins → Xentral.
Note
This is not the normal myDPD pro and my DPD Business Portal, but the API connection.
To be able to use DPD eSolutions fully in xentral, you must first create DPD eSolutions as a shipping method. You do this under Administration → Settings → Shipping methods → "+NEW" → DPD eSolutions.
An interface will appear, which you can configure as follows:
-
Description → Freely select a designation for the shipping method. This is displayed in xentral among others in the order for selection in the drop-down menu

-

Once you have entered all the settings as described above, you can test the package label printing in the shipping center or in a single delivery note. To do this, select the "DPD eSolutions" shipping method from the drop-down menu in the "Delivery note" tab of the delivery note.
Then click on the "Parcel label" tab in the delivery bill and print a parcel label for the items contained via "Print parcel label".
After your test print is complete, you can then cancel the package label in the DPD business customer portal.
