The language list can be used to customize the language to be used in documents and Business letters. You can find the Language List module via App Center > Language list.
You will get an overview of all created languages. You can adjust a language using the pen icon on the right-hand side. With + NEW you can create a new language. The following information must be provided:
- Two-digit ISO code: Language code according to ISO 639-1, e.g. DE for German or ES for Spanish
- Designation German: German designation of the language, e.g. Holländisch
- Designation English: English designation of the language, e.g. Dutch
- Active: Indicates whether the language should be used by the system
A customer is supposed to receive his receipts in Spanish. Store the language Spanish for the customer via Master data > Contacts in the Settings area on the right-hand side under Language for receipts and save the process.
Now, if you create an order for a Spanish customer, it will look like this:
As an example of a business letter template in Spanish, select Administration > Settings > System > Business letter templates.
Now you can edit an invoice with the document language Spanish, for example. Using the pen icon on the right, you can change the settings for the business letter type.
Here you can customize and save the texts you want to have in Spanish:
You can now create, approve and submit a corresponding invoice.
Now the spanish shipping text you set earlier appears.
