Administration > Master data > Item units
You can create custom units and show them in documents with the Item units module. Typical units are e.g. pieces (pcs), liters (L) and kilograms (kg).
To create a new unit, do the following:

Go to Administration > Master data > Item units.

Click +NEW.

Enter a name for your Unit, e.g. pcs or kg.

Click Save.
The following message appears: The data has been saved! The created unit now appears in the Overview. Here you can see, edit and delete all your units.
You can translate your units into other languages. For example, you can display the unit pcs (pieces) as Stk (Stück) for German customers. To do this, proceed as follows:

Go to Administration > Master data > Item units.

Click the Pen icon of the unit you want to translate.

Click the Globe icon.

Click New entry.

Select the Language you want to translate your unit into.

Enter your Translation.

Click Save.
Your translation now appears in the list of current translations for this unit. You can find the entirety of your translations in the Translations module.
You can assign your units to items. To do this, proceed as follows:

Go to Master data > Product > Tab Details.

Select a unit from the field Unit in the Stock / dimensions section.

Click Save.
The unit is now assigned to this item.
You can display your units on documents.
For this you need to select the checkmark for the option Item unit in the document under Administration > System > Basic settings > Tab System in the Receipts section.
This will create a new column in all documents like offer, invoice, delivery note, etc. where the unit will be displayed.
