The Inventory bill of materials module makes it possible to specify bill of materials (BOMs) and warehouses where the BOM should explode into items.
Background: in a normal BOM, you only see the main item in the document items. With this app you can bypass this and display all sub-BOM items for the set conditions.
With the +NEW button you can add a new product to the list.
If you want to specify the BOM items and corresponding warehouses individually, fill in both the item field and the warehouse field.
In the example above, this means that if I enter "Main warehouse" as the preferred warehouse in the order (and save) and then insert BOM 100003, it will explode in the items.
Note
If explode immediately on order is not checked, the BOM will explode only in the continued delivery bill.
If you want an individual BOM item to always explode, fill in only the item field and leave the stock field empty.
If I want all BOM items to explode with only a single warehouse, I fill in only the warehouse field and leave the item field blank.
