In Classic Design: Controlling > Revenue Statistics
In the Sales Statistics you can analyze your sales per customer, supplier, group, and product.
The analysis is carried out for a user-defined time frame and certain selection criteria and filters. Depending on the data you want to analyze, the selection criteria and filters available to you vary.
The general layout of the Sales Statistics looks like this:
For each data category you will get relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) as a result based on your selection. This helps you to get a general overview of your sales business.
Reporting > Sales Statistics > Customer tab
To analyze your customer sales data:

In the Date area define the time frame for your analysis by selecting the relevant start and end date in the From and Until fields.

Select the selection criteria for your analysis. You can select a document type (sales order, invoice, credit note) or the status of a sales order (created, approved, shipped, completed, canceled). You can combine as many of the selection criteria as you like.

If required, you can apply one or more of the following filters: customer, project, product category, and product.

In the Start area click Load sales to create an analysis based on your selection.
The following KPIs are displayed:

Number of documents
-
Sales volume (net)
-
Sales volume (gross)
-
Revenue (net)
-
Contribution margin in %
Furthermore, all relevant sales transactions will be displayed in the table on the bottom of the form with their relevant information.
Reporting > Sales Statistics > Supplier tab
To analyze supplier purchase data:

In the Date area define the time frame for your analysis by selecting the relevant start and end date in the From and Until fields.

Select the selection criteria for your analysis. You can select a document type (sales order, invoice, credit note) or the status of a sales order (created, approved, shipped, completed, canceled). You can combine as many of the selection criteria as you like.

If required, you can apply one or more of the following filters: supplier and project.

In the Start area click Load sales to create an analysis based on your selection.
The following KPIs will be displayed:

Number of relevant documents
-
Total costs (gross)
Furthermore, all relevant purchase transactions will be displayed in the table on the bottom of the form with their relevant information.
Reporting > Sales Statistics > Group tab
To analyze your sales data based on groups:

In the Group/association field select the group you want to analyze.

In the Date area define the time frame for your analysis by selecting the relevant start and end date in the From and Until fields.

In the Start area click Load sales to create an analysis based on your selection.
The following KPIs are displayed:

Total sales (net)
-
Revenue (net)
-
Contribution margin in %
-
Amount of orders
Furthermore, all relevant group transactions will be displayed in the table on the bottom of the form with their relevant information.
Reporting > Sales Statistics > Product tab
To analyze your product sales data:

In the Filter area define the time frame for your analysis by selecting the relevant start and end date in the From and Until fields.

In the select field below the date fields select the document type you want to base your analysis on. You can select among the following:

Sales order
-
Invoice
-
Credit note
-
Delivery note
-

The result list will by default be sorted by products based on their product number. If you want to sort them differently, select the Group by check box and select the sorting base from the select field.
You can sort the result list based on:

Product
-
Product category (Product categories are displayed with the amount of products sold)

Customer: item (Products are displayed with the customers who ordered them and the order amount)

Customer: product category (Products are displayed nby product category and with the customers who ordered them and the order amount)

In the Optional area you can specify in more detail. For that select the relevant options from the relevant selection fields.

Click Filter to carry out the analysis.
The following KPIs are displayed:

Product

Document type
-
Number of relevant documents

Products in total
-
Total costs
-
Total sales
Furthermore, all relevant product categories will be displayed in the table on the bottom of the form with their relevant information.
