Individual order status
In addition to the standard traffic light, the order traffic light can be extended by additional symbols (numbers, letters, and % indications) to reflect specific order statuses. The progress of sales orders or feedback from suppliers on the status or the receipt of materials can be entered in the order (change of the traffic light via checkmark) and added textually.
Overview
In the overview, new traffic light symbols can be created as well as existing ones viewed.
- Label: Individual text that is displayed in the overview by the traffic light icon
- Active: Turns this traffic light icon active in the order overview (for future new orders)
- Icon: Selection of an icon from the list of available Icons
Create a new traffic light icon
Create a new traffic light symbol by entering a caption, setting the checkmark to active, selecting a traffic light symbol, and clicking save. The traffic light symbol is then created in the list below. It can be edited again with the pen icon. If an order traffic light is set up subsequently, it appears in the order traffic light overview but not in the order itself. Only newly created orders have the subsequent set up order traffic light.
Display of the individual traffic light symbols in the order traffic light

Under Sales > Sales order, you will find traffic light icons to the right of the existing Standard traffic light icons. The traffic lights are in the colors green and orange. Above the icons (on mouseover), the text saved in the settings will be displayed.
Filter
The filters for the order traffic lights are displayed in the order overview in a convenient 3-status icon displayed:
- Green: All orders with completed process
- Red: All orders with open process
- Grayed out: All orders with completed & open process.

Application example
In the following example, the basis is to be an order with merchandise and customized products. For this purpose, the standard traffic light icons are first created via the app Order status, extended by a customer-specific refinement process.
Process monitor
Each traffic light icon can have its own process with preconditions and a feedback function can be stored. Under App Center > Process Monitor, you can define the associated processes with the individual steps for reporting back.
Setting the process step
In this example, the setting for the process step Picking Raw Goods might look like the following:
In the preconditions (middle column), you can specify one or more process steps as well as define the regular order traffic lights as preconditions. In the right column, one selects the traffic light step belonging to the process step, which should be reported by the user. Via the setting Email on completion, an automatic email of a defined business letter can be sent when confirming the process step. How to create a business letter template you will learn here: Customize business letter templates.
Reporting the process step
Use the arrow icon to access the respective process step. The orange icon can be used to report back the process step and will thus be forwarded to the subsequent process step. Via the PDF icon, it is possible for the process owner to download the order confirmation. Via the download icon, it is possible to get to the file attachments of the order.
Traffic light steps in order overview
In the order overview, you can now recognize the confirmed steps by the green icons. Only when the last step has been confirmed successfully can the order be transferred to shipping and dispatched. This allows versatile processes between order entry and shipping with several process participants.
