The module described in this article is not available anymore in Xentral instances (demo or licensed) created after 28-Sep-2022. If your Xentral instance is older than this date, there is no change for you.
If you as a new user have special requirements that could only be fulfilled by this module, please contact our customer support team to discuss a solution.
Under Team > Chat you can find the chat function to chat with colleagues directly or publicly.
Until version 21.1 it's under My Area > ChatMy Area > Chat.
Employee needs rights for chat
Employee must also have been assigned the role "Employee" in the address
With the Prio checkbox at the bottom right you can send a message with priority, so that the employee to whom the message is sent also gets a small popup in the browser.
Email notifications about the presence of an unread chat message are automatically sent by Xentral to a user's email address (master data) if the user was not logged in.
The following process starter must be enabled:
Administration > Settings > Systems > Process starter > Chat.
