GLS (CSV) is not available for cloud customers.
In order to use GLS as a shipping method in xentral, you must first create a new shipping method. To do this, go to Administration → Settings → Shipping Types → "+NEW". Shipping methods → "+NEW"→ GLS (CSV) to create a new shipping method.
After you have selected the module "GLS CSV" from the drop-down menu, the relevant fields for GLS will appear. For example, filling the fields might look like this:

Fill the following fields:

Designation → Freely choose a designation for the shipping method. This is displayed in xentral among other things in the order for selection in the drop-down menu

Type → Specify the type/field label. You can generally be arbitrary, as long as it is not necessary for the store mapping or other mappings. Ideally, you should keep the default

Module → Select "GLS CSV" from the drop-down menu

Project → Optionally select a project, provided that for each project a separate GLS shipping type is created.

Active → By ticking the checkbox you activate the shipping type and make it visible and usable

No postage check → By ticking no postage check will be performed in the order

Printer parcel stamp → Select from the drop-down menu the Default printer, which prints the parcel labels.

Printer Export → Select from the drop-down menu the default printer which will print the export papers

Shipping mail → Select from the drop-down menu the behavior of the dispatch mail. Default behavior means that a standard tracking mail will be sent, no shipping mail means that no tracking mail will be sent and custom text template means that for this shipping type, a separate text template is used for the shipping confirmation, independent of the project and logistics process

Standard weight → Specify the standard weight of your shipments. This will then be filled in automatically in the shipping dialog

Export as a single file → By checking this box you print export documents as a separate printout (default: export documents on the same document as package label).

Tracking number start position → Specify the barcode of the internal start position. Everything before this position will be truncated from the tracking number. (e.g. start position 3, tracking number "abcdef" => "def").

Tracking number length → Enter the length of the tracking number from start position

Remove tracking number GLS identifier → Tick the checkbox to remove the GLS identifier from the tracking number.

Path → Specify the directory where the documents to be printed are stored

test → Via the "test" button you can create a test file. Save before you enter data via the "Save" button from

File extension → File extension of the generated document (ex. csv, ...)

Format → You have several values as variables to choose from. Selection, with which you can determine the format. These are: {NAME} {NAME2}, {NAME3}, {STREET}, {HOUSE NUMBER}, {PLZ}, {LOCATION}, {COUNTRY}, {WEIGHT}, {PROCESS}, {PRODUCT}, {SERVICE}, {AMOUNT}, {RECEIPT TEXT}, {DELIVERY NOTE NUMBER}, {CUSTOMER NUMBER}, {INTERNET NUMBER}, {DATE-TODAY}, {INTERNET}
