Xentral offers an interface to MeiApp's mobile hourly report. This app makes it possible to write an hourly customer's report on a mobile device and to send it to the office by e-mail. This report can be customized by adding a company logo and stationery. The hourly report can be acknowledged at the end on the tablet by the customer and technician.
When writing the report, the work performed can be described, the materials processed and set the corresponding time stamps. The hourly report can be submitted at the end as a PDF or XML file. Which data or which format is to be sent by mail to whom can be defined under Master data → Email in the app.
The documents created in MeiAPPS can then be loaded into the Xentral "MeiApps" module.
In order to load the documents in Xentral, you must first open the module via App Center → MeiAPPS to open the module.
In the next step, the XML file, optionally also the PDF file, can be uploaded. An attachment linked to the invoice and address can be uploaded. The hourly report will then be linked to the address of an existing customer or a new customer and the responsible employee in Xentral. The hours can either be assigned to an employee's time account or billed directly to an invoice by specifying an hourly rate article in an invoice.
Under Team → Time Accounts, you can then view the working hours that are assigned to the employee.
Note
Until version 21.1 it's via Management → Time Accounts.
If the hourly report is to be settled directly in the form of an invoice, then under "Action" the target "Invoice", under "Item" the employee's hourly rate and the employee himself.
After saving, you can find them in Accounting → Invoices in the drafts.
