In order to be able to use the advanced address search you have to activate the relevant module first:
App Center > Master data > Address search extended
Once you have activated the module, the Advanced address search tab will be displayed in your contact master data.
The advanced address search contains more information columns than the address filter. This gives you more search and filter options. The following table shows the difference between the available fields in the address filter and the advanced address search.

You can search for specific customer or supplier data in two ways:

Using the Search field

Using the table filters within the columns
To search for a specific term in all table columns:

Enter your search term in the Search field on the right above the table. You can also choose to only enter a part of the search term.
The table shows all customer and supplier records containing the search term.
To filter information per column:

Enter the search term into the table filter under the table header. You can also choose to only enter a part of the search term.
The table shows all customer and supplier records containing the search term.
The advanced address search offers the following additional options:

You can maintain a customer oder supplier record by clicking the pen icon in the Menu column.

All columns can be sorted numerically or alphabetically in ascending or descending order using the arrows next to the column header.

You can copy your (filtered) table to the clipboard, export it as CSV file, Excel file or PDF file or print it. You can find the relevant buttons under your table.
