You can check which functions are possible in detail under Administration → Online stores → Shop functions.
First, a new online store is created and the Rakuten module is selected. After the Rakuten module is selected and saved, the next step is to enter the necessary data for the connection of the two systems. Required are the API key and the API URL.

You can find the API key in the backend of Rakuten under the menu item Connect! → Rakuten Shop API.

The required URL is always constant and is as follows: http://webservice.rakuten.de/merchants This must be entered in the "API URL" field.
Once the data has been entered, you can check the connection between the two systems using the Check Connection button on the right side of the screen.

Once the connection was successful, you will receive the message "success". If the connection was not established successfully, then you will receive a message why.
Specification of dispatch location
Rakuten requires a specification of the address from which their goods are shipped. To do this, you can create an address in the address master for the location of your shipping warehouse and enter it in the "Shipping from address" field.

You can find information about the general settings of the shop interface here.
