With the Scale and Scale settings modules, xentral provides a mobile interface that can be connected to a scale. This can be used, for example, in the production process to weigh and verify items. For this you need the Scale module. Buttons can also be preassigned with certain items, via which the labels for the products can be printed directly. For this you need the Scale settings module.
In Scale settings you can define the items that should appear on the four areas of the scale surface in the Scale app.
The +NEW button can be used to assign one of the buttons on the scale.
-
Label: The entered label for the item is visible on the scale surface
-
Item: Select the item that will be placed behind the scale surface and will be cleared from the scale
-
Button number: Here you can select the numbers 1 to 4, which determine the place on the scale surface
-
Best before date + in days: Specifies the best before date on the label (variable {BBDDATE}) and uses today's date and totals it with the entered value
-
Label printer selection: Here you can select from the drop-down menu which label printer should print the label
-
Label XML: Label in XML that is to be printed on closing
Label example
<label>
<barcode y="1" x="3" size="8" type="2">{NUMMER}</barcode>
<line x="3" y="10" size="3">Xentral Bonbons</line>
<line x="3" y="13" size="3">Gewicht: {GEWICHT} kg</line>
<line x="3" y="16" size="3">Haltbar bis: {MHDDATUM}</line>
</label>
In this example the products Dolls, Pens, Party box and Party balloons have been assigned to the four buttons of the scale. In this case the interface looks like this:

With a connected scale, you can now weigh the weight, click on one of the buttons and print the label.
In Administration > Settings > Adapter box, you have to set up the adapter box for the scale. In step 3, select Scale under Use as and select the model of the scale so that the scale is connected to xentral.
