We recommend you update your instance regularly to stay up-to-date and get the most out of your Xentral system.
There are a few things you need to consider before updating your instance:
-
You need to have administrator rights to start the update process.
-
You should start the update outside of your regular business hours, e.g., in the evening or at the weekend.
-
An update can't be undone, i.e. you can't downgrade to an older version of Xentral.
-
If we have manually fixed an issue on your instance, please ask our customer support team before you update as it may revert the bug fix.
-
If you are part of our beta program, you don't need to update your instance manually as we will automatically update your instance for you.
